Welcome to Tybee Officiant. I live on the island and have performed many memorable, personalized beach weddings since 2002. I try to make my couples feel welcome and appreciated, spending the time necessary to plan and execute your special day.

Officiate fee = $175 which includes ceremony, Tybee Original certificate and filing of your marriage license at the court. I will also advise you on the best location to have your ceremony. Remember, outdoor weddings have their own special set of challanges. Be prepared. Bring your marriage license and leave the rest to me.

I am open to performing ceremonies on un-inhabitated Little Tybee Island, on one of the sand bars, or one of the other barrier islands. Prior planning will be required along with obtaining proper transportation. Will quote upon request.

Can I reserve a spot on the beach for my group?
*Reservations are not required for groups on the beach, although you may be subject to availability of space on your arrival. The City may issue permits for special events, such as weddings, company picnics, or other events; however, be aware that the primary purpose of the beach is for public use, and a permit for your event may not be possible. Call the facilities coordinator at City Hall - (912) 786-4573, extension 127 - to discuss your event details. Contact Karen Reese at kreese@cityoftybee.org
